host your own website

They wanted to know how they host their own website.
Well this is total in my zone.



There is an open source project called zpanel. I know this because I do some work for them making modules and helping out on the forum.

So what is it?
Well here is a snippet of their website

So what can you do with it?
Well you can host your website what do I mean my host well
People can go to www.youdomainanme.co.uk and see your website. You simply turn your computer into a server
But of course your computer needs to be on.

now you are now think of the electricity bill well no worries the average computer take about £10 a year to run so with yours on all the time it is probably about I don’t know £20 - £30 a year
And to buy web hosting it can cost well over that. and remember when you buy the cheap hosting you get shared webhosting meaning that other people share that server / vm with you. you may ssay what is the problem with that will
imcrease rise of getting hacked
you dont have access to the php.ini
and loads more
but if you use you own web server you have access to all of the files and zpanel is ultra secure!

But how can you make money
You can sell your webhosting to other people!£30 a year or £100 or be nice and £10 a year what ever pirce you want. It is your server lol
